Strategic Alliances

U.S. Growth Funds is an investor and limited partner in two SBIC's: Independent Bankers Capital Fund and Jefferson Capital Partners. USGF has acted as a co-investor with both SBIC's in the past.

Independent Bankers Capital Fund, L.P.

Independent Bankers Capital, L.P. ("IBCF") is a private equity partnership headquartered in Dallas , Texas , providing equity capital to established lower-middle-market companies primarily in the Southwestern United States .

IBCF was established by Floyd W. Collins, Barry B. Conrad, TBI and fifty-eight other limited partners - fifty-six of the partners are Texas-based independent community banks and financial institutions. IBCF capitalization approximates $70,000,000. IBCF operates as a participating security small business investment company ("SBIC") licensed by the United States Small Business Administration.

Jefferson Capital Partners I, L.P.

Operating from a centralized base in New Orleans , Jefferson Capital Partners represents a capital source servicing growing businesses primarily located throughout the Southeastern United States, Texas and the Midwest . Businesses located in these geographic regions, and to a lesser extent, in other areas of the country, can look to Jefferson Capital Partners as an investor in a lead or co-investor role. Jefferson Capital seeks companies with strong management teams and attractive growth opportunities. The company provides mezzanine and equity capital to facilitate a variety of corporate finance needs.
