FORT WORTH, TX – January 1, 2008 – Fort Worth based U.S. Growth Funds Corporation (USGF) announced today that it has named J. Richard Garland as an Analyst in the Analysis and Valuation Group.
As a USGF analyst, Garland will assume an integral role in the financial monitoring of USGF’s investment portfolio, analysis of potential new investments and solicitation of new investment opportunities. The Analysis and Valuation Group develops all projections and valuation models used in the evaluation of new investment opportunities, and facilitates ongoing analysis and valuation of existing portfolio companies in addition to supporting USGF Business Development efforts.
Garland is a graduate of Washington & Lee University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting. Garland was a member of the Washington & Lee varsity baseball team. In addition to his studies at Washington & Lee University, Garland also studied at the London School of Economics.
